FOR EVERY DOLLAR DONATED TO UNITED AGAINST POVERTY, 88¢ GOES TO PROGRAMS SUCH AS STEP.
All proceeds benefit United Against Poverty of Indian River County programs that are designed to inspire and empower people living in poverty to lift themselves and their families to economic self-sufficiency.
- The social cost savings for each STEP graduate employed is $52,000 annually.
- Since 2015, STEP graduates have earned 6.5 million dollars in direct wages annually.
- It costs just over $1,000 per individual to start them down the road to financial independence.
